Ranthambore National Park

It lies in an area of 392 sq. km. on a plateau in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. Banas River forms the boundary to the North and Chambal River to the South. The park will give you the best sighting experiences of Bengal tigers and other animals like Indian leopard, wild boar, nilgai, sambar deer and mugger crocodile. Its flora richness is equally fascinating that will stun you with one of the largest banyan trees in India.

Ranthambore Fort

A fascinating spot within the park is this rustic fort that used to be hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur. It was built in 944 AD by a Chauhan ruler at the top of a hill. The majestic location will please your eyes with a sweeping view of Ranthambore National park. The most striking feature of the fort is Hammir Court that thrills visitors with its acoustic effect.

Kachida Valley

Fall in love with this beauty at the first sight which lies majestically at the edge of Ranthambore National Park. The main highlight of this valley is frequent sighting of panthers. A jeep safari will be great for you to have an up-close experience of the wild animals like deer, wild boar and sloth bear.

Surwal lake

The pristine lake is situated 25 km away from Ranthambore. It is loaded with abundant natural beauty and lush greenery that pulls many nature admirers. People also visit here to enjoy birding as the lake attracts many birds that come to quench their thirst. It is a seasonal lake which remains full of water from November to March. It is considered the best time to visit that will also render you sights of birds.

Raj bagh ruins

Raj Bagh ruins are a window to the prehistoric era that will acquaint you with the collection of prehistoric monuments. These are located between Padam Talao and Raj Bagh Talao. The scattered stone structures used to be palace outhouses, arches and domes which are recognizable. The verdure encompassing it makes it more beautiful.
