  • Hawa Mahal

Also referred to as ‘Palace of Winds’, it is the most prominent landmark of Jaipur. The palatial structure is the façade of City Palace imitating pyramidal honeycomb structure. These are dotted with 953 Jharokhas (small windows) that help in keeping it cool with uninterrupted air flow. The unique and aesthetic architecture make it one of the most photographed places of Rajasthan.

  • Jantar Mantar

The founder of Jaipur city, Maharaja Jai Singh II built five Jantar Mantar (astronomical observatories) in India. The one in Jaipur is the largest and is worth paying a visit. It is also included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. Learn how the people used to study stars and planets with the use of architectural instruments. See the 19 instruments including the world’s largest stone sundial. It also houses a small temple in the complex, Bhairav Temple.

  • City Palace

It is the erstwhile palace of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and the most popular attraction. The structure oozes royal charm with features like Mubarak Mahal, Maharani's Palace, museums, Chandra Mahal and Govind Dev Ji temple. A part of the palace is the residence of the descendants of the last ruling family. People come to relive the past and witness its astonishingly beautiful parts.

  • Amer Fort

As one of the best places to visit in Jaipur, Amer Fort is the quintessence of Rajasthani architecture. You can reach the entrance by coming like a royal with an elephant ride. The main gates are Suraj Pol and Chand Pol. Embrace the elegance of this hilltop fort that will amaze you with beautiful places like Sheesh Mahal, Tripolia gate, Man Singh I, Sukh Niwas, Maota Lake and Garden.

  • Jal Mahal

Jal Mahal is a ravishing water palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Admire its exquisite Rajasthani architecture from the bank of the lake as the entry is restricted for the public. The palace is a five-story structure, of which, only one story is visible above the water. The remaining four floors remain submerged. Its longevity is appreciable which hasn’t shaken a bit with the use of lime mortar which prevents the water seepage.
